Thanksgiving Dinner Menu

Holidays are all about the anticipation of traditions and making memories with family and friends.  This year we're waiting on baby number four, so when our friends invited us to join them for Thanksgiving Dinner, we very gratefully accepted!  Some of our favorites are pictured above from our gladsome feast last year.  And in the meantime, I'll share some of our favorite family recipes, in case you choose to add them to your spread this year.

Each of the recipes will be posted individually so we can add them to the index, but since the most cooking I'm planning to do for Thanksgiving this year involves pouring eggnog and warming croissants for breakfast, you'll have to forgive the lack of photos until another day (or year!).

Funny note about greens:  neither of our families has focused too much on this particular vegetable for Thanksgiving Dinner!  So some years we've enjoyed yummy new salads, others we've endured funky experiments by well-meaning sisters and aunts, and more times than not we've settled on the ever-infamous green bean casserole.  So until something perfect makes its way into our menu, you'll have to choose your own green vegetable.  Our hearts aren't set on homemade stuffing yet, either.  Check the back of your box of Stovetop for those instructions. :)

This is a blending of two families, and we don't have it all every year!  Except the desserts.  You can never have too much pie on Thanksgiving.
